Woodwell, Silverdale.

It was a beautiful day and we decided to go for a ramble through the woods in Silverdale. We stumbled across Woodwell, which is where natural, chrystal clear water runs down the rock face and collects into a well. It was a very out of the way spot and must of been the only source of drinking water for the village many, many years ago. A lovely little gem!

Just a few images taken from the garden to remind us of summer.(or lack of it)
