Ullswater Lake. Lake district.

We enjoyed another couple of days at The Lake District and surrounding area.....Ullswater is a really beautiful spot....I did not know where to look first, we were surrounded by magnificent scenery. A Glorious few days well spent!

Sunderland Point. Lancaster Peninsular.

These images where taken over a period of two days at Sunderland Point. Very beautiful country side and lovely weather to go with it, although a bit cloudy at times. I was petting what I thought was a Cow for ten minutes until I walked away and realised it was a Bull! We walked a fair way to Sambo's Grave....who was an African slave who died as he reached our shores, back in the 17th century....he was aged around 60.....People still keep his grave in good order to this day.

The sun was out and showing great promise... so I thought it was about time to take some more images. After spending four beautiful days visiting Grange-over-Sands, the Peak District, Windermere and other places of interest we had leisurely strolls, glorious sunshine, stunning scenery all accompanied by a well informed partner......Fantastic!
